The Reading Fairgrounds are located off Route 183 North, on County Welfare Road in Bern Township. (5 traffic lights
past the Reading Airport.)
DESCRIPTION: The Reading Fair is celebrating its 158th consecutive year as a non-profit yearly
attraction that takes place the second week of August every year. it highlights the farming & agricultural
community in Berks County and provides a week long atmosphere for the entire family to enjoy farm and agricultural
events, fair rides and musical entertainment, track events and good Pennsylvania Dutch cooking, plus a salute to
our Military on opening day. The Reading Fair is the second oldest fair in the state of Pennsylvania.
It's a family event - only $10 per person admission which gets you parking, all the rides, free musical
entertainment and track events.
